Listening about body parts

It is time to learn the body parts!

We are going to watch the video twice, the first time we only listen the song and the second time we can sing the song. Finally, we are going to write in a copy the different body parts:

  1. I personally like this activity because children tend to like songs and it is a great way to learn vocabulary and sentences. Also, they could listen to it at home and learn it all so that later they can remember the parts of the body. I can see that the students will have to write the parts of the body too, so they will develop their writing skills. This is one of my favourite activities.

  2. Hi Lucia,

I agree with Virginia when she says that she likes the activity. Like her, I think it's a good approach to activity, and the video is aimed at primary school children, something that will motivate the students a lot. The back of the activity, in which the students have to write body parts, I found very interesting, since you can work the students' listening comprehension, in addition to the expression.

    Very interesting.

    Greetings, Fer!

  3. Hello Lucia,

I find this activity very funny. I think that
I believe that I will use it in my next physical education class so that the children learn the parts of the body at the same time that we perform the warm-up. Also, I think that this activity is very useful to present new vocabulary in a fun and entertaining way. In addition, with songs it is easier to remember new words because it is catchy. And at the same time they learn new vocabulary they are improving listening comprehension.

    Congrats!

  4. Hello Lucia,

I really love this activity you planned for your students. I have done this kind of activities with children from 4 to 7 years old and I must say they love it. They really enjoy singing English lessons; it is a good way for them to learn the pronunciation of the words. Moreover, they enjoy dancing while singing since they love to repet same dance moves and even try to do it as fast as they can. To come to an end, I really like that you also proposed a writing part so the activities seems very complete.
Congratulations for your activity, I think it is a really good one!
